The mission of the Cameron Park Fire Department is to preserve and enhance the quality of life and to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of the comunity through effective fire prevention, fire control, emergency medical, and public education programs; to provide a highly trained and properly equipped emergency response team and to mitigate the effects of disasters and all hazards to life and property for which the organization is charged. The Cameron Park Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency response services under contract with CAL Fire. The Department serves an estimated resident population of 18,000 with two fire stations, 88 & 89.
